At Ferndale Nursery, we have access to many differing outdoor areas that bring a breadth of learning and excitement.  We also have a dedicated, fenced engaging outdoor learning environment that is used daily.  Please see below some of our amazing outdoor areas that are explored in our Nursery and Foundation Stage provision.

The Forest

Every term we have a specialist Forest School Leader deliver skills such as cooking over an open fire.  We also access the forest weekly to explore the natural world, create dens etc..
